Strawberry Lemonade Spritzer

Strawberry lemonade--with a twist.  While the strawberries can be blended and the lemons can be juiced ahead of time, combining the ingredients closer to when guests will be arriving is recommended as the recipe calls for sparkling water.

Strawberry Lemonade Spritzer, Lemonade, Party Drink, Wedding Drink

Ingredients: 

Directions:

16 oz. frozen strawberries, thawed

2 1/2 cups freshly squeezed lemons (about 9)

 

2-3 cups of sugar, to taste

 

2 liters sparkling water (found in the soda section of your grocery store)

Puree strawberries in blender.  Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds, especially if serving in a drink dispenser.  Pour strawberries into a container with lemon juice and 2 cups of sugar, and the sparkling water. Taste and add sugar as necessary.  Place additional frozen strawberries and sliced lemons in pitcher or drink dispenser as a garnish.
