Ingredients
2 cups warm water

1 T. yeast

1/4 cup sugar

6 T. butter, melted

3 t. kosher salt

6 - 6 1/2 cups flour

Topping:

1/4 cup butter, melted

1 t. kosher salt

1/2 t. garlic pow

Directions:
Place warm water and yeast in the bowl of a mixer to proof. Add sugar, butter, salt and enough flour to make a dough that is soft, but not sticky. Knead for 5 minutes.

Allow dough to rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Divide dough into 24 balls. Roll or stretch each ball into a 6 inch strip. Place strips on parchment paper lined baking sheets and cover. Allow to rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from oven and brush with melted butter. Mix salt and garlic powder together and sprinkle over breadsticks.
