Ginger Mint Lemonade
We love trying out uniquely flavored lemonades. Ginger and mint combine with lemon here to create a fun and delicious drink.
Servings: 4
Total Time: 40 minutes, including steeping time
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar

11/4 cup peeled and chopped ginger
​
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
​
11/2 cup fresh lemon juice
​
4 cups water (2 cups cold water, 2 cups boiling water)
Directions:
Place water and sugar in a microwaveable safe bowl and cook on high until boiling, about 3 minutes. Put ginger and mint in a bowl and pour boiling water over. Let steep for 30 minutes.

Strain liquid with a fine mesh strainer over a glass container, pressing on the ginger and mint to extract flavor. Discard ginger and mint leaves.
​
Add lemon juice and 2 cups cold water and refrigerate until ready to serve.
