Bing Cherry
Ice Cream
This gorgeous ice cream gets it rich flavor from dark bing cherries. The best part is that we use frozen cherries, so you can make this ice cream anytime of the year.
Servings: 10
Total Time: 2 hours (including freezing time)
Ingredients:
1 lb. (16 oz.) frozen cherries

1 t. vanilla
1 t. lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup milk
1/4 t. kosher salt
1 cup chopped semisweet chocolate or mini chocolate chips, if desired
Directions:
Put 3/4 lb. (12 oz.) frozen cherries, vanilla, lemon juice, sugar, cream, milk and salt in a blender. Process until smooth. Refrigerate mixture until ready to process.

Dice remaining cherries (cut into quarters lengthwise and then cut each quarter in half). Add cherries and chocolate to ice cream mixture according to ice cream maker's manufacture directions. Process the ice cream according to manufacture directions.
