Leave the orange, reds and yellows to decorate the ground this year and try incorporating browns, greens, purples and whites to get a relaxed, earthy and elegant ambiance.

Small metal decor pieces compliment leafy garland.  Contrasting a light table runner against a dark background allows a simple and clean white plate setting to stand out. 

For a lighter look, a white table cloth with a white embroidered table runner can help highlight table centerpiece decor.  Metallic highlights or glass items placed at different intervals make the perfect contrast to floral pieces.  Golds and browns give a fall elegance to rich highlight colors. Add pine cones, acorns or other natural accessories to a fall or winter scape for a perfect balance.
